history

history

The Artificial Life Group from the Laboratory of Integrated Systems (LSI-ALG) was constituted in january 2000. This group  meet together professors, researchers, under-graduated and graduated students of the Department of Electronical Systems Engineering from Polytechnique School of the University of São Paulo (PSI-EPUSP).

The ALG began its activities with the WoxBot project. Since its foundation, the ALG has as main goals the development of new technologies, and the involvement students with master and doctoral programs at EPUSP. Undergraduated students are also incentivated to take part on our research activities. The scientific development on this area and the application of this knowledge are also under our main interest.

The WoxBot project was conceived to offer an appropriate environment for the study and development of articial life scenarios
