Current
Activities:
Researcher
at the Department
of Electronics Systems (PSI) of the Polytechnic School of the
University of
São Paulo (EPUSP)
Professor at FATEC-SP
(Faculdade de Tecnologia)
Profile
I have earned my BS in
Electrical
Engineering (major in Telecomunication) by 1987 from the Polytechnic
School of the University of São
Paulo, my MS from the same University by 1992, and My Ph.D.
from Tohoku University by
1997.
In my MS dissertation,
supervised by
Prof.
Jacobus Willibrordus Swart, I have studied the formation of
titanium and cobalt
silicides by sputtering and RTP (Rapid Thermal Processing) for
applications
as interconnect material in integrated circuits.
In my Ph.D. thesis,
supervised
by Prof. Tadahiro Ohmi,
I have studied the formation of pn junctions by ion-implantation
followed
by annealing at a temperature as low as 500oC. This can be
achieved just by avoiding contamination during the sample preparation,
especially
during the ion-implantation itself.
I have studied in Japan
with a scholarship granted by the Japanese Government (Mombukagakusho).
We,
former scholars, are members of ABMON
(Associação dos Bolsistas do Governo Japonês -
Japanese
Government Scholars Association).
